This is the magnetic floating bed design that started the whole trend on floating beds. Of course, not many people buy this magnetic bed because of the cost but many designers have used this as an inspiration and started to create designs that mimic floating beds. The name of this cool floating bed is called the Dylan Designer Contemporary Bed. It is sold by Cattelan Itlia and was designed by Andrea Lucatello. Featuring 5 different colors that you can choose from. Great use of curves to highlight the empty space underneath the bed.

Suspended bed design

Again, a very nicely designed suspended bed that gives the appearance of floating in the air. I could not locate the company selling this suspended bed but it looks really really nice.

Another great suspended bed design comes from Dolum. This black and white floating bed is called the aluna beds and is made to create a sense of levitation for your sleep.
