Setting Up your Round Kitchen Table

If you have moved into a new home, you probably have lots of space to furnish. Remodeling your home is another reason to acquire lots of new, or new-to-you, furniture. One such piece of furniture is a kitchen table. Not everyone has room to put a table in their kitchen, but for those who do, it’s a welcome piece of furniture for the extra working and sitting space. Finding a kitchen table is the fun part, and so is setting it up in your new kitchen.

A round kitchen table is a great addition because of its versatility. A small round kitchen table can fit into tight and awkward spaces. With an expandable table, you can add leaves to increase the table-top space. Also, because there aren’t any corners to get around, a round table can hold many more people. You can squeeze in a few more or just have a few people sitting at it. Even if you have a large space, a round table is a great way to make good use of the space.

Setting up your round kitchen table takes some thinking. If you have a square space, you will probably do best to put it in the center, assuming it will fill the space. If it’s a small table in a large space, put it where it won’t be in the way. For example, don’t put it up against a counter with stools. If you have an awkward space, be strategic. Don’t be afraid to move it around, stand back, and see how it looks. Do this before you set it up with centerpieces so that you don’t have to move it later.

Setting up new furniture in a home can be a hassle, especially when you have to assemble the furniture yourself. When you have it all set up, you will be glad it’s done and happy to enjoy it.
