Space saving platform beds

When it comes to the areas that we live in we often just simply don’t seem to have enough room. This is true whether you live in a large home, or a collage dorm room. It is all the same, just like a budget, when we live in a area we tend to use the space we have, and it never seems to fail that we eventually run out. This has particularly become true in this difficult economy right now. There are many families who are moving in with others, or having extended family or friends move in with them, just to make ends meet. The trouble that arises is that we quickly seem to run out of space if we are not extremely careful and well organized.

One of the best ways we can do this, regardless of our circumstances, is to get as functional as possible by reorganizing the way you live. This can be done by using items and space saving furniture such as space saving beds that allow you to use your space in the most optimized way possible.

When you look at the biggest culprit of consuming space there is nothing more guilty then your bed. That is why utilizing items such as bunk beds for kids, or platform beds are an effective ways to get the most out of your space.

Platform beds are created to work as an alternative system to hold your mattress. Most common bed frames use a system that is constructed out of three metal bars which require the use of a box spring. These are not only costly, but they typically only offer a limited amount of useable space under the bed because of its bulky construction.

The platform bed uses a support system that is made form wooden slats or panels that are solid. This enables your bed to not only still be extremely comfortable, but closer to the ground and yet open so that items can be stored under it more comfortably.

It is important to also note that platform beds are constructed so well that in using them you typically will still maintain any warrantee on a mattress that you have.

Queen platform beds are not just comfortable and inexpensive, with the average costing the same or less then just the box spring, they also allow you to use precious space that would otherwise be wasted.
